In the Scottish Highlands, in 1854, young Angus MacLeod faced the consequences of the Highland Clearances. While entire families were being evicted to make way for flocks of sheep, Angus stood his ground, refusing to abandon the hills of his ancestors and guarding the memories of a clan that time and politics sought to erase from the Scottish landscape.
